About

Sarah (Seligman) Rycroft, Ph.D.

What I offer: I am a clinical psychologist/neuropsychologist offering psychotherapy and cognitive skills development for individuals facing challenges related to a range of neurodevelopmental, neurological, and psychological processes. My approach is grounded in my understanding of complex brain/behavior relationships and seeks to help clients identify workable solutions to barriers they face in moving towards their goals. I use individually tailored, evidence-based treatment modalities to help clients improve daily functioning and wellbeing. I work collaboratively with clients to explore and address challenges they face, adjust their relationship with thoughts that keep them stuck, and live meaningful lives in line with their values in spite of areas of pain. Education/Training: I received my bachelor’s degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a Neuropsychology major area of study from Temple University. I completed a specialized Neuropsychology internship and a two-year Clinical Neuropsychology fellowship at the VA Boston Healthcare System, with appointments at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. I am an out-of-network provider. I am happy to provide receipts for services for those clients interested in filing for reimbursement with their insurance carrier.
